After multiple years of legal proceedings, we have reason to celebrate.  The Vermont Supreme Court affirmed today that our Act 250 permit amendment to hold events year round, clarify sound limitations and to respond to our community’s event needs was valid.  Waterfront Park is preserved as a community gathering place into the future. Let the event season begin!

“The Park has been a dynamic resource to the City, and its increased use has been and will continue to be important to the City’s cultural, recreational and social life, and its prosperity.”
