It’s the season where we kick it into high gear for major parks projects!

Coming up this week we have work continuing along the Bike Path and work being done in Smalley Park.

Burlington Greenway through the Urban Reserve

Tomorrow, May 17, will be a busy one along the newly renovated bike path; with shoulder work, ongoing exercise equipment installation at the pause places, and general site work. Please be mindful of the workers, obey all flagger instructions for partial closures, and be prepared to walk bikes through areas of concentrated work. Thanks for your patience with the all the projects! It’s going to be so beautiful when it’s all done!

Smalley Park Infield Renovation

On May 17 a contractor will begin renovating the softball infield at Smalley Park. They will be moving equipment and materials in and out of the park through the northeastern entrance on Adams street. The contractor estimates that it will take two weeks to complete the project, during which the infield will be unavailable for use. Please be mindful of construction equipment moving through this area of the park during working hours. Thanks!
