Ethan Allen Park “It’s Just a Run in the Park” 5K and Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run!

On Saturday, October 10th, The Ethan Allen Tower Keypers, with the support of Burlington Parks Recreation and Waterfront, will host the first “It’s just a run in the park” 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run for kids. Kids’ Fun Run begins at 9 am with 5K at 10 am.
This is a meandering course that makes its way on paved and unpaved trails throughout Ethan Allen Park. It’s a fun and healthy way for runners (and spectators!) to enjoy the beauty of this New North End park in its fall splendor.

- FREE pre-registration and information go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/N63H3MT
- Kids’* Fun Run begins at 9 am. *Ages 12 and under.
- 5K begins at 10 am.
- Day-of-race Registration and Runner Check-in: 8 am – 8:45 am.
- Ethan Allen Park will be closed to vehicles. Please park in back section of the Elks’ Club on North Ave.
- Prizes from Salomon and New North End eateries for top three men and women finishers, and top three kid (12 and under) finishers.
- Ethan Allen Tower will be open for spectacular fall views with local history provided by Gary De Carolis of Burlington History Tours.
- This is a no-frills event. An electronic clock will be at the finish line, but individual times will not be recorded or posted.
- Donations will be accepted the day of at the registration tent. They will be used to offset event costs and contribute to the upkeep and beautification of Ethan Allen Park.
