The start of Burlington Youth Football is right around the corner. Youth Football begins the week of August 8^th.

LEAGUE REGISTRATION

Practice begin August 8th, 2016. League Fee is $75 for Flag (Grade 2-4) and $90 for Modified Tackle (Grades 5-8). Coaches will set practice days and times.  There will be more practices scheduled in August than in other moths because players need to attend specific number of practices before competing in games. Games for Grade 2-4 team will be on weeknights in September and October. Games for grade 5-8 will be on Saturdays, beginning with a jamboree in Milton, VT on August 27^th.   Families can register for youth football at three age levels: 2nd-4th grade flag, 5th & 6th Modified Tackle and 7th & 8th Tackle.

We’re also teaming up with Burlington High School Football to offer a week-long football camp!

You can also call 802-864-0123 to register over the phone.  Once registered you will also need to complete the Northern VT Youth Football League (NVYFL) registration and provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate.  If your child has played in past seasons we probably have their birth certificate on file.

SAFETY & EQUIPMENT – Burlington Youth Football has purchased 75 brand new helmets for the 2016 season!!!!

Burlington Youth Football And the Northern VT Youth Football League follow all USA Football  Heads Up Football safety protocols to ensure the game is played in the safest manner possible. All of our coaches are trained in Heads Up Football and must complete the USA Football Coaching Course. The City of Burlington has received grant money from VT High School Football Coaches Association for equipment improvements. Our department is committed to providing all of the necessary equipment required to ensure the safety of our youth participants.

We are looking for parents and community members to help out with this program. All coaches must complete USA Football Coaching Course and undergo a state and national background check.
