Additional Information about the CORE Adult Center

The CORE Adult Center (formerly known as the Champlain Senior Center), founded in 1990, supports the independence and well-being of older adults, enhances their dignity and self-respect, and promotes their participation in all aspects of community life.

In 2016, we began to manage the Adult Center, a congregate meal site location. At BPRW, we understand that seniors are the largest growing population in the Burlington area. We will not only continue to support senior activities, but we will strive to offer trending programs that enhance the lives of all involved participants.

Like & Follow the Adult Center on Facebook to see what they’ve been up to!

For over twenty years, the Adult Center has provided a rich array of nutritional, educational, health, social and recreational programs to Chittenden County residents age 50 and over. Activities range from crafts to cooking and writing. For more information contact the Adult Center at (802) 316-1510 directly.

For more details about additional programs available for registration and specific descriptions please visit our online registration.

The Adult Center is offering virtual activities!

Following the Governor’s announcement we have suspended on-site programs at the CORE Adult Center beginning Monday, November 16, 2020. This closure remains in effect. A date for reopening the facility will be dependent on reducing the level of COVID-19 exposure in our community. During this closure, AdultCenter staff will be working with AgeWell VT to arrange for daily meal deliveries to senior adults in our community. We are committed to ensuring the safety of senior adults in Burlington.
