Check out the newest addition to North Beach Campground… our first lean-to!

“Sugar Maple” (named for the dominant tree species at this campsite) sports live-edge pine siding, massive 8×8 timbers with live edge knee braces that frame the front entrance, and a decorative live edge fascia board to round-out its tastefully-rustic look. This beauty should keep many a camper high and dry for years to come!

This project came about through a partnership between BPRW and RESOURCE YouthBuild. On top of looking great, the project served as on-the-job skill building for local youth under the watchful oversight of the excellent YouthBuild staff. We are looking forward to building (no pun intended) on the success of this project with the construction of two more lean-tos in the fall.
