Poet: Alana Harte
About the Artist:
Growing up in Queens, NY Alana most enjoyed roller skating in the hallway between impromptu spelling bees and dance competitions with her parents. These days, she’s an educator, and equity consultant, and she earned a doctorate in educational leadership along the way. She recently released the picture book Eli & Glamma, based on her son and her mom, and is working on a new writing project (for grown ups this time) when she’s not making kinetic sand castles with her son Eli and her husband, Sean.
