GMAA Turkey Trot 5K

The race will be held rain, snow or shine!
Run for charity in the 40th annual Turkey Trot 5K hosted through the Green Mountain Athletic Association! The race will take place at 11am in the Gutterson Field House on the University of Vermont campus. The field house is located at 147 Spear Street, Burlington.
COURSE: Certified (VT05002RF) 5K on the UVM women’s cross-country course. Great footing (not counting snow or ice) on cinder/paved path and grass. Some single track.
KIDS’ RACE: There will be a free 1/4 mile kids’ race at the Archie Post fields just before the 5K race at 10:45am.
REGISTRATION: Register on race day at the Gutterson Field House on UVM Campus between 10am and 10:40am. Feel free to fill out this form and bring it with you to the race day registration. All ages are welcome to register for the race!
ENTRY FEE: Suggested donation of $5 per person ($10 per family) and/or a food donation. Runners are welcome to donate more! All donations will benefit the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. Checks can be made payable to GMAA. There are no refunds, deferrals or transfers.
RESTRICTIONS:
- No pets
- No headphones
- No strollers or bicycles allowed on the course
- Walkers are welcome
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Be race ready and prevent injuries with a good dynamic warm up prior to this year’s run.
- Walkers and slower runners are encouraged to line up towards the back for safety at the crowded start.
RESULTS AND PRIZES:
The race will be timed with a large race clock. No results are to be recorded other than the top 3 male and female finishers. There will be a random prize raffle at noon for all participants.
