Everyone’s favorite summer spot turns 100 years old, and we’re celebrating with free entrance to the beach all weekend. We’ll also have kids activities, music and lots of fun things. Stay tuned for more details.

Sand Sculptures by Elwin Designs
Watch a giant sand birthday cake sculpture get built by Justin Gordon from Elwin Designs
Free Movie on Saturday Night
Movie-on-the-beach on Saturday night: Coco! Bring chairs, blankets and hang out by the beach to watch the newest Pixar movie at 8 pm
Kids Activities
Kids activities include an inflatable obstacle course & face painting with LITTLE ARTSY FACES Art by Kadina Malicbegovic during the afternoons

Check out the mini historical exhibit on the beach’s history
Great Food, Drinks & Music
Enjoy delicious food and beverages for sale at the The Beach House VT, which will host live music all weekend long!
Free lunch will be available for all children at the event between 11 am and 1 pm both days, as part of the Burlington School Food Project summer meals program
Enjoy the Water!
Rent a kayak or paddleboard from Umiak Outdoor Outfitters and get out on the water, $12 off all rentals between 10 am and noon both days!
Remember the Day
Memorial plaque unveiling and tree dedication with various City officials on Sunday at 4 pm
There’s so much going on, you’re guaranteed to find something you like! Parking will be free both days, however it may fill up early. If you want to avoid the traffic, take your bike and park it for free with Local Motion’s bike valet between noon and 9 pm.
