Lakeview Cemetery Civil War Walking Tour

Saturday, May 26th, 1 PM, Rain or Shine

Don Jackson will be leading a walking tour featuring Civil War veterans buried at Lakeview Cemetery (455 North Avenue, Burlington).   Learn a little about the lives of soldiers from Vermont, and soldiers who chose to settle here after the war, while also enjoying a stroll in Burlington’s only 19th century Park and Walking Cemetery.  The tour will be under 2  hours.

Louisa Howard Chapel Open

Saturday May 26th, 11 AM – 3 PM

The Friends of Lakeview Cemetery will be opening the historic 1882 Louisa Howard Chapel (455 North Avenue, Burlington) to the public from 11 – 3 on Saturday, May 26th.  Stop in to take a peek inside Burlington’s restored High Gothic-style Victorian landmark.
