Additional Information About Calahan Gardens

The garden was initiated by a small committee of neighbors in the fall of 2009.  Working in close consultation with BACG, the Organizing Committee developed a plan for a no-till garden which would include significant landscaping and other amenities to build community, diversify the uses of Calahan Park, and serve as an example of urban food production.
