Water Works Park & The Fishing Pier

Water Works Park was opened in June of 2019. The new public space creates improved access and amenities in this portion of the water’s edge, including a wood boardwalk, permeable walking paths, large garden beds planted with native trees and shrubs, new LED lighting, nine new benches, and more. The park is near the Fishing Pier.

Seasonal restrooms are located at the Burlington Harbor Marina.

Water Works Park is located to the left of the Moran Plant, and right behind the City’s Water Treatment Facility at 235 Penny Lane. Parking is limited, and we encourage travel on foot or by bike. Parking is available on Lake Street and the Lake Street extension (in front of the Skatepark).
