Itty Bitty Programs
For ages 0-6 our Itty Bitty programs offer children and parents a chance to introduce skills, teamwork and interaction through a variety of offerings. The emphasis is on fun, creative expression and beginning a lifelong relationship with all forms of recreation. Most programs are shorter in duration. Check availability, costs, times, locations and register online.
Our Little Chefs will be whipping up a delicious lunch using fresh ingredients to take home or eat after class is over. Kids learn basics of food prep to help at home with their families.
Making Friends Music
Music stimulates developing brains and promotes bonding with parents. In this fun and engaging music class, children interact and explore together through singing, movement, guided listening and instrument play. Babies are fascinated by toddlers and the toddlers enjoy helping and sharing with the babies. Instructor: Marcie Hernandez of Music Blooms Music Therapy.
Creative Movement for Kids
This class that gives students an early introduction to dance through music and movement.
Pint Sized Scientists
Kids come and be a scientist for the day! We will be creating Faux Lava Lamps, Rain Clouds in a Jar, and creating other fun experiments using household items. Have fun working with our ooey, gooey science materials.
Itty Bitty Arts & Crafts
We are all artists. Kids will be making a variety of crafts with many kinds of materials. It will be lots of fun to create and explore. Please wear play clothes. Instructor: Stacie Bilodeau.
Itty Bitty Book Club & Project
It is a fact that children need “Miles on Books” to help with future learning success. There will be great stories and crafts to go with them. Fun awaits. Please wear play clothes. Instructor: Stacie Bilodeau.
Itty Bitty Science
Children are full of wonder and curiosity. They are always asking questions such as why, what, when? We will explore some science experiments and hope to learn something new along the way. Please wear play clothes. Instructor: Stacie Bilodeau.
Itty Bitty Soccer
Parent and child work together to develop motor skills necessary to succeed in soccer and to prepare child for team play which begins at the kindergarten level. Participants receive ball and t-shirt.
Tree House Adventures
Join us for an adventure at the Oakledge Park Tree House. We will be reading stories in the tree house and then going on hiking and exploring adventures in the park. Be ready to have fun and enjoy the outdoors!!
Intro to Itty Bitty Track & Field
Local HS coach, Geoff Bennett, will be introducing youngsters on the proper body mechanics for running, jumping and throwing. A parent or guardian is required to attend all practices with child. This one-week short session will get young athletes excited about the longer Itty Bitty Track session in July.
Itty Bitty Tennis
Introduce your child to basic tennis skills while developing their hand and eye coordination, movement and balance, and their ability to follow instructions. Professional staff from the Sports & Fitness Edge provide instruction for this program. Tennis rackets and balls are available to all participants.
Itty Bitty Track & Field
