AKC Canine Good Citizen or Trick Dog Evaluation with Fetch the Leash: REGISTER HERE
Get your pup CGC Certified, and/or get their next AKC trick title! $15/evaluation
The Canine Good Citizen test is a fun rite of passage for family or companion dogs, and challenges you and your dog to work as a team to be a polite member of your community, with test items such as: greeting a friendly stranger politely, some very easy basic obedience (sit, down, stay, come), loose leash walking, handling everyday distractions, passing another dog politely, and being able to hang out quietly while their handler goes out of sight for three minutes.
Tricks can also be evaluated at this event! There are four levels of evaluation that will be offered: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Trick Dog Performer. Dogs should be at least four months old, have completed a previous title in order, and have an AKC, PAL, or AKC Canine Partners number. The requirements for each level are listed on the American Kennel Club website.
*Dogs being evaluated must be wearing a flat collar or harness (no pinch, electronic or head collars) connected to a regular, non-retractable leash.
