Accessible Exercise Equipment Workshop
April 21 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
Have you noticed the new exercise equipment on the Burlington Greenway along the waterfront?
It’s the UVM Medical Center Fitness Trail, and it is designed to be accessible for wheelchairs and walkers!
Vermont Center for Independent Living (VCIL) and a group of UVM physical therapy students would like to design an exercise program just for you, to utilize the equipment. They will be having a drop by exercise workshop down on the path on April 21 from 9am-12pm to describe the equipment and develop a work out plan that you can take home with you. If you are interested in joining us, please click the link below and enter in your email. We hope that you consider joining us and value your participation!

We will meet at the Andy A_Dog Williams Skatepark located at 1 Lake street in Burlington VT at 9am on April 21. (The rain date will be April 28 9am-12pm.) This is a drop by workshop so you do not need to show up right at 9am or stay until 12pm. If you do not see us by the skatepark then we will be by the exercise equipment further down the bike path, located to your right if you are facing the lake. The first exercise station is by the dog park.
