Champ Camp is a State licensed school age child care/day camp program for children in grades 1-5. The camp offers seven weekly sessions with open enrollment options, giving parents the flexibility to sign kids up for one week, two weeks or several weeks! And with 2 locations at Champlain and C.P. Smith Schools, its easy find a convenient site.
Activities include arts and crafts, swimming, recreational games, athletic activities, music, nature walks, special events and weekly field trips. In addition to swim lessons, we will also offer soccer, tennis, nature programming and adventure programming at different times throughout the summer!

Playing With Our Food at Champ Camp 2015
Another highlight of the Champ Camp, is the unique partnership with Body Resolution to focus on fitness and nutrition program for campers.
Two days of every weekly session of Champ Camp has fun and interactive activities that focus on healthy foods, learning the food groups and understanding why fats and sugars are so bad for us.
Why focus on nutrition and healthy eating?
Because 1 in 3 kids is overweight or obese and the average child gets 40% of their daily calories from saturated fats and sugars. That’s more than TWICE the recommended amount from the FDA!
In 2014, campers were tested on their food knowledge in the beginning weeks and at the end. By the end of the 7 week, over 85% of children could name the food groups and a could explain why water is a better option over sodas and sugary drinks.
