Manhattan Drive Slope Improvements

Current Status:

The bike path will be opened for Monday morning commutes on 7/18! The bike path has been paved and the contractor has removed the closure signs.  Next week the contractor will clean up, seed and fix the fence. Impacts to the bike path will be minimal from now on.

Project Timeline:

5/16/16 construction project starts

7/1/16 The Manhattan Drive slope is almost completely stabilized, but there is still construction activity which requires the bike path to be closed during the week.  The contractor has been able to open the bike path every weekend so far, and will do so as long as the area is safe to use.  Path users should obey all signs, even if the path needs to be closed on the weekend.

7/11/16 Work begin on Bike Path. During repairs the bike path will be closed between Manhattan Drive and the Ethan Allen Homestead. Please follow the detour map below to find alternate routes during construction

9/30/16 target date for completion
