Perkins Pier Marina Expansion Environmental Assessment

The Perkins Pier Marina Expansion Environmental Assessment is available for public review and comment for the next 30 days.

Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront has drafted the Environmental Assessment (“EA”) that is required in order for the City to receive funding through the Boating Improvement Grant (“BIG”) program that is managed by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The grant award will help the City to provide additional transient and seasonal boat slips within Burlington Harbor.

A copy of the EA may be viewed at the City of Burlington Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, 149 Church Street, online below, or by downloading the PDF copy here.

Update: August 30, 2016

The Environmental Assessment (EA), as mandated by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), has been completed with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Read the full report: Perkins Pier FONSI
