FY 09 CAPITAL PROJECTS:

• Worked cooperatively with Public Works to have drainage problems corrected and paving completed on 700 ft. of the Bike Path between North Beach and Leddy Park.
• A new section of boardwalk was constructed at North Beach.
• An epoxy floor was installed in four restroom buildings.
• A new bocce court was built at Oakledge Park giving us a total of three courts.
• A new roof was installed on the Roosevelt Park shelter.
• Completed replacement of facility's fire alarm system including new radio call box to connect the Arena directly to the Fire Department in case of alarms.
• As part of the City team working on waterfront improvements, a variety of projects related to the Boathouse and Waterfront Park were completed.  These included:
• • Paving of walkways from College St. to the Boathouse
  • Installing new decking, benches, and lights on the east side of the Boathouse
  • Installing new entrance ramps from the east deck to the Boathouse itself.
  • Constructing a new building that included public restrooms and an information function in the waterfront parking lot.
  • Renovating the waterfront parking lot in include a pervious concrete surface with improved drop-off area for buses.
